Who can resist chicken and dumplings? It is the ultimate in comfort food! This is quite possibly the best and easiest recipe ever! (In my humble opinion)... It is however, EXTREMELY delicious and so very, very simple to make...
Start by chopping a handful of baby carrots (approx. 2 regular sized carrots), a 1/4-1/2 onion, and 2 stalks of celery. (Use more or less veggies, depending on your taste). Put the veggies in the bottom of a crock-pot.
Lay 3-4 chicken breasts on top of the vegetables. (I used 2 LARGE breasts! heh). Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place butter on top of chicken.
Cover chicken with cream of celery, cream of chicken, and 2 cans of chicken broth. (The picture below looks gross!)
Cover and cook for 6-8 hours. I cooked mine on high for 2 hours then turned the crock pot down to low. After 4-5 hours I added 1 soup can of water. After the 6-8 hours, remove chicken and set aside. Take your biscuits and cut into small squares. (I cut mine in various sizes). Add 1 more can of water to crock-pot and add biscuits. Cook for 30 minutes. (I turned the crock-pot back to high at this point)
Shred chicken and place in crock-pot with biscuits.
Cook for 30 more minutes.

1 10oz Cream of Chicken soup
1 10oz Cream of Celery soup
2 10oz chicken broth (plus additional water)
2 T butter
1/2 cup carrots
1/2 C celery
1/2 C onions
Salt and pepper to taste
Biscuits (I used Grands original 8 pack biscuits...all 8!)
Chop carrots, celery, and onion and place in bottom of crock-pot. Lay chicken on top of vegetables, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and top with butter. Add cream of chicken, cream of celery, and 2 cans of chicken broth. Cover and cook for 6-8 hours. (After 4-5 hours add 1 soup can of water)
Remove chicken from crock-pot and set aside. Cut biscuits into squares and add to crock pot along with one more soup can of water. Cook on high for 30 minutes. Shred chicken and return to crock pot. Cook for 30 more minutes... Enjoy!
