Tile Pictures

This is a super cute and inexpensive way to display your pictures and use up your old tiles!

I had several pictures that I purchased a few years back but I never got around to buying frames for them so the pictures have been collecting dust.

We just so happened to have several floor tiles in our garage and I knew they would be perfect to show off my pictures.

(I apologize for my stellar picture quality. My trusty camera finally crapped out on me! I have to rely on my camera phone for now.)

You just need a few items for this craft.

1.  Pictures
2. Tiles
3. Paint brush
4. Mod Podge
5. Box knife for trimming edges
(Yes I know this is the smallest paint brush ever!)

Brush your mod podge all over your tile.

I made my own mod podge using a 1:1 ratio of Elmer's school glue and water.

Place your picture onto your tile. Take another tile and press on top to remove air bubbles... let dry.

Here is my edge.

Turn your tile over and trim the edges.

Once the edges are trimmed, brush mod podge on top of your picture to give it a textured feel.

Let your picture dry and enjoy your new decor! I placed my tiles on a shelf above my kitchen sink!

You can also display your child's hands/feet on a tile along with their name and age!
