I love, LOVE, love lasagna! I made these rolls for dinner tonight and my 13 month old devoured his!
Lasagna Rolls are such a fun twist on the traditional lasagna. This recipe can be made in many different ways, add ground beef, ground turkey, tofu, spinach, mushrooms, even chicken. You can't go wrong! This is a perfect freeze and eat later recipe... you can freeze individual rolls on a cookie sheet and then place in a freezer bag.

I love curly hair, but never curl my hair anymore because I have too much hair and it takes too long to curl and the heat is too damaging. This way is so much better... NO HEAT and it left my hair curly, just the way I wanted it AND it didn't take very much time to do it! If your hair is like mine and doesn't hold the curl long then use gel or another product you like. If you have any questions, shoot me a comment!
Here is my hair before...

This was the cake I made for my son's first birthday. It was so easy to make. I used food coloring to make the cake blue, added a few m&m's and fruit by the foot rollups for the bow and ribbon and voila... Super cute, fun cake that makes you smile!
Yum! I love enchiladas! This recipe was adapted from my sister in-law's enchiladas, I made a few tweaks to make it my own...
Tonight was a lazy night and I really didn't feel like cooking so I thought it would be the perfect time to dust off my crock pot... I had nothing in mind to make and just pulled random items out of the pantry and refrigerator and came up with this recipe.. It was pretty tasty! My hubster and I both had seconds and my 1 year old made a happy bowl! I didn't measure anything so I will try to get as accurate as possible.
You can add diced jalapeno for an added kick, I didn't add any because my 1 year old was partaking! This would be delicious with jalapeno corn bread... I served mine with big flaky biscuits and they were really good for soaking up the juice!
This is taken from an online article I read a while back...
Self-esteem - do you have any? Can you look in the mirror and see someone that you like, or do you, more often than not, tell yourself that you're not good enough because you have extra weight, or dark circles, or wrinkles? Are you a bully, spreading nasty rumors about your self-worth based on what you think you should look like? Are you able to see your external as merely the packaging to someone accomplished, someone wonderful and someone who sets goals, who is able to attain nearly anything? We all should, even if for the simple reason that we are Mom. We have a hand in raising the next generation - one destined to create something amazing out of this world. We have the most influential roles in how our children, and especially our daughters, feel about themselves. Parents model behavior and children, especially during their earliest, most formative years, pick up cues about how they should think, behave and process the world around them. It's a rare child who will act upon what they're told, rather than what they witness. Think about that the next time you're standing in front of a mirror, talking to yourself about how 'fat', 'ugly' or 'flabby' you are. Your daughter is watching and learning, and soon may find herself in front of that same mirror. |
