How to Clean a Keurig

Love coffee? YES! Coffee drinkers know that after making so many cups or pots of coffee the taste gets a little blah. Keeping your Keurig or coffee pot clean is the key to a deee-lish-us cup of coffee!

I love coffee. I love it in the evenings... it's relaxing. I want my coffee to taste good! Here is an easy way to keep your coffee maker clean so you can keep enjoying your coffee!

Vinegar has many uses, one of them being a cleaner. Pour about a cup of vinegar into your water reservoir in your Keurig (or coffee pot) and fill the rest of the way with water. If you are using a Keurig then make several cups so that the water empties, coffee pot users just make a pot of "vinegar water" like you would make coffee. You can repeat if you want... after all the vinegar water is used refill with plain water and let that run through... I would do this part twice to remove the vinegar completely.

My husband uses a coffee pot to brew his tea. Let me tell you... it gets filthy! See the water in the pot? That's what the vinegar water cleaned out!
