My sis-in-law had a birthday cookout and I needed a quick and easy... AND TASTY side dish. I wanted the dish to be something that everyone would enjoy, and by enjoy I mean devour! These loaded potatoes were just what I had hoped they would be... DELICIOUS! If you are looking for a side dish that everyone will love, this is your recipe! I mean who doesn't love BACON! With just a few simple ingredients you can throw together this Ah-mazing dish.
Ingredients:
12 red potatoes 1 lb bacon, crumbled 4-5 green onions 1/2 stick of butter Shredded cheese salt and pepper Directions: Dice potatoes and boil until soft, drain. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cook bacon. Place potatoes in a 9X13 inch pan and top with salt, pepper, and butter. Top with crumbled bacon and cut green onions and slightly mix together. Top with shredded cheese. Place uncovered in oven for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and serve. *I made a lot of potatoes to serve 15-18 people. Use however much bacon, onions, and cheese you want to suit your taste. Can you have too much bacon? I had to keep adding salt and pepper until it suited my taste. *An easy way to make bacon, bake in the oven at 400 degrees until slightly crispy. (About 15 minutes)
Oh my! Can you say "SERIOUSLY GOOD"! This is a go to recipe for all upcoming get-together's!!!
